All are individual timber buildings divided by trees affording privacy. With the accommodation all being at ground level, free ranging wildlife intermingles throughout the resort.

Double and Twin Bungalows.

$64 per night. (per 2 people) 10% discount with YHA card.

These fully refurbished bungalows offer

• comfortable fully sprung queen and single mattresses,

• choice of bungalows with air conditioning or natural ventilation with fans.

Share accommodation

$27 per night per person. 10% discount with YHA card.

Island bungalows offer

• 8 share dorm accommodation with private facilities
  • female only,
  • male only
  • mixed share accommodation.

The islanders are fully refurbished with

• fully sprung mattresses.
• High ceilings, ventilation below,
• large screened openings
• canopy of shade ensure these islanders are always cool.

Ensuite Doubles

$80 per night – no YHA discount.

Retaining the 1930’s heritage of the site, 2 of the original buildings from the Swenson Family Guest House have been refurbished as ensuite doubles, with fridge, coffee making facilities and a private porch with table and chairs.

Book early for the opportunity to stay in one of these sought after heritage bungalows.

Camping

$12.50 per person. No YHA discount.
$30 per couple for a powered site. No YHA discount.

Bungalow Bay Koala Village offers the only camping on Magnetic Island,.

The large shade trees, abundant wildlife and grassed camping areas provide guests the opportunity to fully integrate with the environment.

PADI Openwater Dive Course

• 3 day PADI openwater dive course (learn to dive off the beach)

• Courses start Mondays, Wednesday and Friday mornings
